Uzbek Ambassador, Abdusalam Hotamov held a meeting with, CEO of Oman's Salam Air, Ahmad al-Shidhani, and Director General for International Relations, Mazen al-Salmani, Dunyo said.
During the talks, the parties explored the ways to further advance the ties between Uzbekistan and Oman, in particular connecting the two countries through direct flights.
They underscored that the launc of flights between the two countries would serve to boost the two-way trade and the flow of tourists.
They also agreed to organize an online meeting with the participation of the leadership of the Salam Air and executives of major tourist firms in Uzbekistan to discuss the prospects of bilateral cooperation.
