Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Kurbanov met with his Kazakh counterpart Ruslan Zhaksylykov in the Kazakh city of Aktau.
The two ministers visited the military facilities of the Aktau garrison, where the second stage of the joint operational-tactical special exercise "Kanzhar-2023" is taking place.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations in the field of combat training and military education.
According to the ministers, the joint implementation of combat training tasks during the exercises would make it possible to achieve efficiency, coherence in the actions of headquarters and subunits, and master new forms and methods of combat. They also pointed to the existing potential for cooperation in the field of military education.
At the end of the meeting, they expressed confidence in the development and strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation.
