The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Austria organized a conference call meeting between the officials of the Uzbek Foreign Labor Migration Agency under the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment and the Slovakian Federation of Industrial and Transport Unions, Dunyo said.
Officials of the Slovak Federation of Industrial and Transport Unions pointed to the need for additional labor due to the establishment of new production untis in the country and the increasing demand for export of products, and that Slovakia sought to establish cooperation on hiring Uzbeks.
The parties agreed to advance holding training courses in Uzbekistan to adapt the Slovak industry.
Thea also agreed that the agency would send samples of documents requested from employers and draft employment contracts to work in Slovakia, and the Slovak side would distribute these documents to the members of the federation and identify potential employers, as well as attract the necessary workforce from Uzbekistan through the agency.
