The delegation headed by First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Belarus Aleksey Lyakhnovich landed in Uzbekistan.
According to the Ministry of Transport, the meeting of the joint Uzbek-Belarusian commission on international road transport kicked off today at the ministry.
At the meeting, the parties are discussing the current state of cooperation in the field of transport logistics, as well as the ways to advance them. In particular, they considered the aspects related to the creation of additional amenities for national carriers in the process of international cargo transportation by road transport, an increase in the quota for the mutual exchange of foreign permit forms.
The parties are also discussing issues related to the creation of a new Belarus-Russia-Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan multimodal transport corridor.
