Vice-President of Indonesia Ma'ruf Amin arrived in Tashkent on a five-day visit yesterday, Dunyo said. At the Tashkent Airport guest, he was welcomed by the Deputy PM Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Foreign Minister Bakhromjon Aloev and other officials.
The Indonesian delegation included about 100 officials of ministries, departments, representatives of media, as well as business leaders. During the five-day visit, the Indonesian delegation will hold bilateral meetings and negotiations in the government, ministries and departments of Uzbekistan, where they will discuss the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation.
In addition, the Indonesian delegation will visit Samarkand, where they will visit the Silk Road Samarkand tourist complex and meet with the leadership of the province and the city.
