President of Singapore Halimah Yaqub, who is on a state visit to Uzbekistan, today met with the country's leaders of various religions in Tashkent on May 24, UzA said.
Reportedly, Muzaffar Komilov, adviser to the President of Uzbekistan on cooperation with public and religious organizations, Muftiy Nuriddin Khaliqnazarov, Chairman of the Office of Muslims and leaders of other religions participated in the meeting.
The leaders gave information about harmony and comfort in the religious sphere in Uzbekistan, while Halimah Yacub recognized Uzbekistan's initiatives in the field of religious tolerance.
