Today at the Ministry of Defense, the Deputy Defense Minister/ Commander of the Air Defense Forces and the Air Forces, Akhmad Burkhanov hosted the Commander of the Turkish Air Force Atilla Gülan, the press service of the ministry said.
During the talks, the parties discussed the ways to strengthen the friendly ties between the two countries, cooperation in the field of the air force, and advanced training of specialists in this field.
In the afternoon, the Turkish delegation visited the military unit in Chirchik and got acquainted with its activities, and they were shown demonstration flights.
Reportedly, the commander Atilla Gülan highly commended the skills and experience of the Uzbek military and emphasized that Uzbekistan’s efforts to advance this area would serve to further strengthen bilateral relations between our countries.
The visit of the Turkish military delegation will continue on April 27 with an acquaintance with the Higher Military Aviation School in Karshi.
