President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Russian Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, who heads the Russian delegation at the Innoprom. Central Asia international industrial exhibition, which is currently taking place in Tashkent.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of the bilateral economic agenda, according to the press service.
Reportedly, the head of state welcomed the successful organization and holding of the Innoprom with the participation of over 5,000 business delegates from 35 countries. The parties also focused on maintaining the high upward trend in the two way-trade and deepening industrial cooperation in priority areas.
They underscored the wide opportunities for further advance partnership between the provinces of the two countries and implementing more projects.
They also emphasized importance of accelerating the preparation and implementation of investment projects within the framework of the project office, including in such areas as energy, engineering, agriculture, textile industry, pharmaceuticals and other industries.
