Uzbekistan exported ready-made garments (RMG) to 14 countries ,with Russia remaining as the top destination for Uzbekistan RMG exports on over 47%.
According to the Agency on Statistics, in January-February 2023, Uzbekistan exported 9,000 tons of knitwear worth $42 million to 14 foreign countries.
In the first two months of 2023, the countries where Uzbekistan exported the most RMG:
- Russia - 19.8 million
- Kyrgyzstan - 12 million
- Italy - 4.2 million
- Belarus - 1.7 million
- Azerbaijan - 1.3 million US dollars.
Uzbek provinces and cities that exported the most RMG:
- Tashkent city - 16.6 million
- Tashkent region - 8.1 million
- Andijan region - 6.3 million
- Bukhara region - 3.8 million US dollars.
