By the June 21 Presidential decree Shukhrat Atabaev has been appointed deputy chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, the President’s press service reported.
Prior to this appointment Shukhrat Atabaev (39 years old) since 2015 worked as the deputy chairman of the People's Bank of Uzbekistan. He has been working in the banking system since 2001.
He is a graduate of Tashkent Financial Institute (2000), National Institute of Political Science (Japan, 2005) and Academy of State and Public Construction under the President of Uzbekistan (2010).
