New mayors appointed to Bekabad district and Bekabad city - Tashkent Times

Otabek Israilov was appointed as mayor of Bekabad district of Tashkent province, the province governor’s office announced, replacing Turobzhon Djuraev, which was named acting governor of Samarkand province.

Otabek Israilov since 2016 had worked as the deputy governor of the Tashkent province on issues of agriculture and water management.

Zafar Fayzullaev has become the mayor of Bekabad city, in 2014-2017 headed the farm Toytepa Zafar Mevalari in Urtachirchik district, and earlier - in 2001-2011 he was the mayor of Yangiyul district.
