On December 23, 2022, the President signed the Establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and moving the days off in 2023 Decree.

March 8 (Wednesday) - Women's Day - Uzbeks will rest for one day. According to the Labor Code, this day is a public holiday.

On the Navruz holiday, Uzbeks will rest for four to five days in a row.

For those who work 6 days a week, additional non-working days will be March 20 (Monday) and March 22 (Wednesday).

Also, in March, for those with a five-day work week, days off will be moved as follows:

- from Saturday 11 March to Monday 20 March;

- from Saturday 25 March to Wednesday 22 March.

Thus, Uzbeks who work 6 days a week will have the following days to rest:

- March 19, 2023 (Sunday) - a day-off as per the calendar;

- March 20, 2023 (Monday) - additional non-working day / moved day-off;

- March 21, 2023 (Tuesday) - public holiday;

- March 22, 2023 (Wednesday) - additional non-working day / moved holiday.

Those who work 5 days a week will rest on the following days:

- March 18, 2023 (Saturday) - a day-off as per the calendar;

- March 19, 2023 (Sunday) - a day-off as per the calendar;

- March 20, 2023 (Monday) - additional non-working day / moved day-off;

- March 21, 2023 (Tuesday) - public holiday;

- March 22, 2023 (Wednesday) - additional non-working day / postponed holiday.
