Employees of the Uzbek Consulate General held talks with Xiao Yong, the deputy director general of China Southern Airlines, Dunyo reported.
During the meeting, the executives of China Southern Airlines were provided detailed information about Uzbekistan’s tourism potential and the existing trade relations between the two countries.
Uzbek officials made proposal to launch Guangzhou-to-Tashkent, Guangzhou-to-Samarkand flights, which will serve to further advance trade and economic relations and boost the two-way tourism.
Xiao Yong said that the company has launched Urumqi-Tashkent flights and has plans to launch Beijing to Tashkent flight from the summer of this year.
