On December 6, First Deputy Foreign Minister Furkat Sidikov received the Russian ambassador Oleg Malginov, the Foreign Ministry said.
Reportedly, the parties discussed topical issues of trade, economic and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia and commended the successful holding of the 3rd meeting of the joint commission at the level of the heads of government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation, as well as the Uzbek-Russian business forum, held on December 1-2 in Samarkand.
The sides reached an agreement was to maintain regular contacts in order to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of bilateral economic agreements and projects.
