The Ministry of Energy, together with the Korean Energy Agency, has implemented yet another project. According to the ministry, a solid fuel (pellets) production unit project through processing of production waste was launched in Khodjeyli district of Karakalpakstan.
“The plant’s annual production capacity is 12,000 tons. Pellets is used for heating houses and social facilities. The plant is another joint project of the Ministry of Energy and the Korean Energy Agency,” said Obidjon Dilmurodov, the spokesman to the Ministry of Energy.
The pellet is made from the straw of various crops, corn stalks, roots and leaves of almost all plants, woodworking waste and household waste.
