Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khojaev yesterday hosted a delegation led by Senior Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Keithiro Nakazawa.
During the negotiations, the 200 million dollars loan agreement signing and notes exchange ceremony was held within the second phase of the credit line "Development of the creation of the added value chain in the fruit and vegetable industry (Phase 2)".
The project envisages the provision of a credit line to local commercial banks in order to increase the financial stability of farms and related organizations, small businesses and private entrepreneurs.
This will allow to increase the volume of production of competitive fruit and vegetable products in Uzbekistan.
