On September 30, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the visiting CEO of VTB Bank Andrey Kostin, who arrived to attend the Tashkent Economic Forum program.
The parties discussed the development of investment and financial cooperation of domestic enterprises with one of the largest banking institutions in Russia and commended the signing as part of the forum of the first agreement on the credit line worth US$ 1 billion for projects of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine.
Also, the parties emphasized the opportunities for expanding partnerships in the implementation and financing of industrialization and infrastructure modernization projects and reached an agreement on the preparation of a joint "road map" to promote cooperation.
