Monitoring by the Central Bank has identified violations in the official websites of 18 banks in September-October, the regulator's press service said.
The check inspected compliance with laws and accessibility of information for consumers.
Some websites lacked information in the Uzbek language, which violates the Official Language Law.
Furthermore, it found that some bank websites, in violation of information disclosure laws, had failed to publish the procedure for phased release of property pledged as collateral for a loan.
Such violations were committed by Agrobank, AnorBank, Hayot Bank, Universal Bank, Garant Bank, Asakabank, Turonbank, Infinbank, Mikrokreditbank, Trastbank, Madad Invest Bank, Soderot Bank, Orient Finans Bank, Ipoteka-bank, Tenge Bank, Ziraat Bank Uzbekistan, AVO Bank, and Open Bank.
"An administrative penalty in the form of a fine of 102 million soums was imposed on each of the banks that was found to have committed the violation," the regulator noted.
The banks have been issued directives to rectify the violations on their websites and bring the information into compliance with laws.
In October, the Central Bank fined TBC, Davr Bank, and Hamkorbank 2.5 billion soums for violating consumer rights.
