As part of the program of the visit in Beijing, president Shavkat Mirziyoyev met the Chairman of the China Export-Import Bank Wu Fulin.
Founded in 1994, with more than $800 billion in assets worth, the Export-Import Bank is China's leading financial institution in supporting international trade and economic cooperation.
At the meeting, the parties noted that the portfolio of joint projects in the country had reached US$ 3.5 billion. The parties reviewed the bank's plans for opening a regional office in Tashkent and forming new promising projects for the development of transport and social infrastructure, industry and the private sector.
