Meeting was held at the Uzbek Embassy to Oman with Xu Yukhang, the general manager of Al Mawakab National Trading & Construction LLC (MNT), Dunyo reported.
The parties reportedly exchanged opinions over the investment potential of Fergana province, the opportunities created for foreign investors. Xu Yukhang noted that the Fergana province was one of the leading provinces in Uzbekistan in terms of population, and that there were favorable conditions for the development of information technologies in this province. He presented a project worth 3 million US dollars to introduce a modern teaching system and create digital technology centers in secondary educational institutions in the province.
He expressed readiness to develop promising projects as such, the launch of a SIM card manufacturing enterprise, the establishment of an electronic program coordinating the trade and economic areas, and the establishment of a logistics center in Kokand free economic zone.
MNT was established in 2007 and has been implementing various in commissioning of large constructions, transport-logistics centers, water and power stations. The company has advanced experience in creating modern monitoring systems in buildings, developing software information and communications.
