The Ministry of Energy has presented a list of renewable energy projects to be launched. According to the ministry, the list includes seven projects with total capacity of 2,797 MW:
- Project of a solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 100 MW in Karmana district of Navoi province. Launch date: September 2021;
- Project of a solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 100 MW in Samarkand province. Launch date: December 2021;
- Project of a wind power plant with a capacity of 500 MW in Tomdi district of Navoi province. Launch date: 3rd quarter of 2024;
- Project of 2 wind power plants with a total capacity of 1000 MW in Bukhara province. Launch date: 4th quarter of 2023;
- Project of a solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 200 MW in Nurata district of Navoi province. Launch date: 2nd quarter of 2023;
- Project of a solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 457 MW in Surkhandarya province. Launch date: 2nd quarter of 2023;
- Project of 2 solar photovoltaic power plants with a capacity of 220 MW each in Samarkand and Jizzakh provinces. Launch date: 4th quarter of 2022.
