A small industrial zone is being established in Yangier city of Syrdarya province. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on March 20 signed a resolution "On establishment of a small industrial zone in Yangier city of Syrdarya province."
According to the resolution, the small industrial zone will operate for 30 years (with possibility of extension) in the southern part of Yangiyer.
More than 207 projects worth US$ 40 million will be implemented in the small zone.
The projects will be implemented in the sphere of textile, footwear and leather goods, ecofriendly chemical, food, electrical industry, building materials industry, deep processing of fruits and vegetables products and etc.
The Uzbek leader granted a number of tax and customs privileges for investors of the small industrial zone.
