As reported earlier, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev on February 24 arrived in Kashkadarya province.
The head of state inspected promising agricultural projects. The first project that he examined was the multi-purpose farm - Nishon Kuzgu in Karshi city, where an automated complex comprising a slaughter house, products storage and packaging facility is being created.
Korabayir Otchilik Mazhmuasi breeding farm in Yakkabag district will specialize in breeding 200 Karabair horses. A cattle-breeding complex, erected in Kasan district is designed for 2,000 heads of cattle, producing 4,280 tons of milk and 210 tons of meat a year.
Aquacultural company on Vietnamese technology in Nishan district will provide the local fish farms machinery services, supply of fish fry and feed. Here will be organized a hatchery growing fry, a 600 ton capacity freezer, an enterprise which will process 500 tons of fish per year and a shop producing 800 tons of special feed.
The Head of State familiarized himself with the project "Restoration of Karshi cascade of pumping stations - Phase III», which provides for renovation of 9 pumps of the pumping stations 1 to 6 of the cascade, as well as 850 meters of pipes and carrying outof sewage treatment works. US$128.9 million dollars have been allocated for these purposes.
