Cement prices at exchange trades slightly increased due to the failure of furnaces at Akhangarancement and Jizzakh cement plant, the Antimonopoly Committee said.

On October 7, Akhangarancement reported about the failure of two rotary kilns. As a result, the listed cement decreased on average from 7 to 5 thousand tons per day.

A similar situation has occurred at Jizzakh cement plant. Due to the ongoing repairs, the volume of produced cement decreased on average from 11 to 5 thousand tons.

The drop in the production volume led to price increase by the end of the week and was at 579 soums/kg.
