Malaysian International Trade and Industry Minister Darell Leiking will visit Uzbekistan. It became known at the meeting of the Uzbek Deputy PM Elyoer Ganiev with the Minister Leiking.
The Minister Leiking highlighted that Malaysia sees Uzbekistan as a key partner in Central Asia, noting the existence of a huge untapped potential for advancing cooperation. He pointed to the need to boost trade and investments.
A number of agreements were reached following the talks, including the organization of a visit to Uzbekistan by a delegation of Malaysian business executives led by the Minister Leiking, as well as the consideration of the possibility of implementing investment projects.
