Between January and May 2026, Uzbekistan conducted trade operations with 185 countries worldwide, the National Statistics Committee said in a report. During this five-month period, China retained its position as the nation's largest trading partner, followed closely by Russia and Kazakhstan.

The statistics bureau's report notes that the highest volumes in Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover during the first five months of the year were recorded with the following countries:

  • China: $7.7 billion USD
  • Russia: $5.8 billion USD
  • Kazakhstan: $2.3 billion USD
  • Turkey: $1.2 billion USD
  • Afghanistan: $915.8 million USD
  • France: $771.9 million USD
  • Republic of Korea: $747.8 million USD
  • United Arab Emirates: $746.6 million USD
  • Germany: $501.9 million USD
  • Kyrgyzstan: $469.0 million USD

While China and Russia firmly maintain their leading positions in the country's trade network, Uzbekistan's trade relations with other Central Asian neighbors, European nations, and the Middle East continue to show active growth.
