39 projects worth of $251.4 million will be implemented in Navoi free economic zone (FEZ) in 2017-2019, UzA reported. These include projects on setting up the production of glassware, LED lighting products, building materials and other products.
It should be noted that there are 18 JVs with South Korea, Great Britain, Italy, China, the United Arab Emirates, India, Singapore and Russia are operating at Navoi FEZ, with total amount of investments at $ 124 million.
The enterprises produce more than 100 types of products for exports. Its close location to the logistics center at Navoi international airport is an additional convenience for foreign investors.
