On September 9-10, maiden symphonic open-air concert will be held in Tashkent co-organized by the Ministry of Culture and TOP Congress. It will mark the opening of the 88th theatrical season of the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theater (SABT).
The venue for the concert will be the Theater's Square, the organizers said at a press conference on Monday.
The SABT's Symphony Orchestra will perform under the conductor Bobomurod Khudaykulov. Soloists and ballet groups of the Bolshoi Theater will present compositions of world classics - "from Strauss' Waltz and Tchaikovsky's Adaggio to contemporary works by Andrea Bocelli", the organizers added. The open-air concert will also feature national arias from the Uzbek classical opera.
