The project for construction of factories for production of autoclaved aerated concrete blocks is planned to be implemented in Tashkent province.
Equipment and materials will be supplied by German Wehrhahn GmbH. The agreement was signed in Berlin by representatives of the German company and the Uzbek-Turkish joint venture East Mining Investment.
The 50 million euros of the 130-million-euro project are foreign investments. The factory, according to the owners, will be unique in the CIS in terms of energy efficiency
The autoclaved aerated concrete help save heat and energy, with less time required for construction.
The memorandum of understanding for this project was signed in August 2018 at the International Investment Forum in Jizzakh. In total, Uzbekistan is planning to build 5 modern aerated concrete blocks manufacturing plants with total capacity of 2.5 MCM per year.
