The Europe-Uzbekistan Association for Economic Cooperation co-hosted the traditional European Business Evening & Reception with the Delegation of the European Union to Uzbekistan on the sidelines of the Tashkent International Investment Forum. The high-level gathering brought together more than 250 senior representatives of European companies, international financial institutions, and the diplomatic corps alongside leading Uzbek officials and EUROUZ members.

The event featured keynote remarks by Professor Dr. Klaus Mangold, Chairman of the Board of EUROUZ; H.E. Toivo Klaar, Ambassador of the European Union to Uzbekistan; Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD); and Sodiq Safoyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Uzbekistan. These were followed by a high-level panel discussion moderated by Calin Anton, Managing Director at Greystar Real Estate Partners, featuring Boris Tadic,

former President of Serbia and advisor to the CEO of VEON Group; Erlan Dosymbekov, Managing Partner for Caucasus and Central Asia at EY; Eldor Mannopov, Managing Partner at Dentons Uzbekistan; and Bernard Delomenie, Senior Director at Crowe. The panel was dedicated to Uzbekistan's evolving investment climate and explored current opportunities, regulatory developments, and the increasing role of European investments in the country. The evening offered a unique platform for strategic dialogue and exchange, reinforcing Europe's long-term commitment to fostering deeper economic ties with Uzbekistan. The panel also emphasized transparency, regulatory stability, and partnership opportunities in key sectors of the economy.

The European Business Evening reaffirmed the growing momentum of European business engagement in Uzbekistan and underscored the country's emergence as a key investment destination in Central Asia. The evening concluded with a dedicated networking reception, offering participants a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and explore new avenues for collaboration.
