President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is set to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to attend the Arab Islamic American Summit in Riyadh on May 21, the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.
Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a message to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inviting him to join the summit to be hosted by his country.
The focus of the summit will be on ways to enhance cooperation between the United States of America (USA) and Muslim countries in the fight against extremism and militancy.
During the stay in Saudi Arabia, President Mirziyoyev is expected to hold a number of bilateral meetings.
