President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev offered his sincere condolences to the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev in connection with the casualties as a result of avalanches in Zhambyl province, a statement of the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
In his message, the President conveyed words of sympathy and support to the families and friends of those killed and injured.
On February 17, avalanches occurred during the exercises of troops in Koksai gorge in province region. Seven soldiers were killed, eight are in the hospital.
