Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, in Belgium on the second day of his visit, met with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium Didier Reinders on Tuesday.
The sides reportedly discussed in detail the topical issues for furthering and deepening bilateral ties in such areas as political and inter-parliamentary contacts, trade, cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
As emphasized in the meeting, Uzbekistan’s Development Strategy for 2017-2021 has opened new opportunities for boosting Uzbek-Belgian ties in various fields and has given them a multifaceted character.
In the meeting, the sides also exchanged views on some international and regional issues.
