A delegation led by South Korea’s Ulsan city Mayor Kim Du-gyom landed in Fergana province. According to the provincial administration, the South Korean officials were solemnly welcomed at the Fergana International Airport by Deputy Governor Sherzod Polvonov and other officials.

According to the agenda, after the welcoming ceremony, the province governor Khairulla Bozorov received the guests and discussed the prospects for mutual cooperation.

Also, a ceremony of presenting Ulsan Mayor Kim Du-gyom with the title of honorary professor and a dialogue with students took place at the Fergana Polytechnic Institute.

The guests got familiar with New Uzbekistan complex, Ecocity in Fergana and the Bunyodkor youth development industrial zone in Kuvasoy.

Finally, the most important event was the opening ceremony of the Ulsan-Uzbekistan Shipbuilding Training Center at the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in Fergana.
