Cabinet of Ministers issued a Resolution on January 29 aimed at simplifying the crossing of border by individuals and those moving on vehicles.
According to the document, a procedure for Fast Track customs clearance will be adopted to automate the movement of individuals crossing the border.
To use the service, individuals or representatives of legal entities can submit an application through the official website of the Customs Committee or electronic payment systems before arriving at checkpoint, or verbally when crossing the border.
After payment, the applicant receives an electronic receipt with a QR code, which is valid for one year from the date of registration.
Should the application be made at checkpoint, payment shall be made through bank branches.
Users of the service undergo customs control out of turn in specially designated areas (corridors, VIP lounges, etc.). Other persons shall be served in a general queue.
The cost of the service is 15% of the basic charge unit (56,250 soums) per person. Payment shall be made through mobile apps or bank branches at the checkpoint.
The service is free of charge for minors (under 18 years old), and disabled persons.
