Korea Institute for Climate Change (KICC) partnered with the Korea Energy Agency (KEA) and the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan to set up an Energy Expert Training Center (EETC) in Tashkent.

The project will span for a period of 5 years from 2021 through 2025.

The Center will launch full-scale operations in 2026.

Energy Expert Training Center will be training energy sector experts in Uzbekistan with an aim to boost energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gases.

The curriculum is structured into three levels: Basic, Advanced, and Master.

Upon completing each course, the trainees will receive a certificate of completion.

Government-recognized certificates will be granted for Master’s course graduates.

The Center is equipped with high-end professional equipment used by energy diagnosis companies.

This basic course training will be held on July 15-16 at the Energy Expert Training Center’s building at Ajou University in Tashkent.

The deadline for applications is July 11th.
