Student tried to set fire to the Israeli embassy in Tashkent city. According to the court document, A.A., 20, 2nd-year student of the University of World Languages. In the early morning of October 19, 2023, he tried to set fire to the Israeli embassy.

That day, around 4:30 a.m., the young man put a bottle of kerosene, dumbbells, two boxes of matches and pieces of cloth in his backpack and rode a bicycle to the embassy. Then his actions attracted the attention of policemen patrolling near the embassy.

They asked the young man to stop, and he started running away on his bike. The employees followed him in a service car, stopped him and brought him to the police department.

A.A. in his testimony to the court, he stated that in mid-October 2023, he began watching videos showing armed conflicts between Israel and Palestine in the Gaza Strip, and in order to take revenge, he stated that he intended to burn down the ISRAELI embassy in Tashkent.

"Before, I wanted to throw kerosene bottles over the wall into the embassy courtyard.

According to the judgment of Yakkasaray district criminal court on April 19 of this year, A.A. He was found guilty of Terrorism charge and was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
