Deputy Foreign Minister Bahrom Aloev hosted the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Regional Director for Southeast, Eastern Europe and Central Asia Manfred Profazi.
According to the Foreign Ministry, at the meeting, the parties discussed the cooperation between Uzbekistan and the ILO and exchanged opinions on the ways to ensure the rights of labor migrants, combating human trafficking and further development of bilateral cooperation in other areas.
They also reviewed prospects for implementation of new projects in Uzbekistan by the representative office of ILO in Tashkent.
