In early December, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, is expected to visit Uzbekistan. Today, the newly appointed Kazakh ambassador presented his credentials to the Uzbek president in Tashkent.
According to the presidential press service, Kazakhstan had been a close friend and neighbor, strategic partner and ally for centuries. In recent years, bilateral relations have shown consistently high dynamics. Interparliamentary ties and interregional interaction are progressively developing.
During the ceremony, the parties expressed was that the expected visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan in early December would mark the beginning of a new era in interstate relations.
