Acting President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent his condolences message to the President of Brazil Michel Miguel Temer Lulia Elias on the crash of a Brazilian passenger plane in Colombia which led to numerous casualties.

The Acting President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a message to the President of the Council of State and the Council of Ministers of Cuba Raúl Modesto Castro Ruz expressing sincere support and condolences to the leadership of Cuba and the Cuban people on the passing of the prominent politician and statesman Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz, a statement of the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The Interim President Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent condolences message to the President of India Pranab Mukherjee after train derailment near Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) caused loss of lives.

The Interim President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on November 10 congratulated the president-elect of the United States of America Donald Trump on convincing presidential election victory, an Uzbek Foreign Ministry statement said.

A square in downtown Moscow, situated in the vicinity of the Uzbekistan’s consulate and guest house in Yakimanka area will be named after the First President of Uzbekistan.
