The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the State of Kuwait, Bahromdjon Aloyev presented credentials to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on his election as the President of Turkmenistan.

Uzbekistan will take part in the international specialized exhibition EXPO-2017, which will take place from 10 June to 10 September in Astana (Kazakhstan),  a statement of the press service of UzExpoCentre, a state run exhibition firm said.

On February 8 the Uzbek Foreign Ministry delegation headed by the Minister Kamilov was received by the Prime Minister of State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a condolences message to Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau expressing sincere condolences and condemning the terrorist attack on a Quebec City mosque that left six men dead and several others in critical condition.

The Uzbek Foreign Minister, Abdulaziz Kamilov congratulated Sigmar Gabriel on his appointment as the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.

On January 24 the Uzbek Foreign Minister, Abdulaziz Kamilov, heading the government delegation on official visit in Kabul, held meetings with senior adviser to the President of Afghanistan on Economic Affairs, Humayun Kayumi and the special representative of the President on the development of cooperation with Central Asia and Russia, Muhammad Shakir Korgar.

On January 23, the Uzbek Foreign Minister, Abdulaziz Kamilov in Kabul met with the Afghan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Salahiddin Rabbani.

On January 24, the regular Uzbek-Chinese political consultations between foreign ministries were held in Beijing. The Chinese side was represented by a delegation led by the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of China, Li Huilai, the Chinese Foreign Ministry press-service said.
