President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a state visit.

The US Agency for International Development (USAID Competitiveness, Trade, and Jobs Activity in Central Asia) will host one of the region’s major international business events, the Seventh Annual Central Asia Trade Forum, Future Growth: Trade, Transport & Horticulture, at the Rixos Almaty Hotel, Kazakhstan, on 18-19 October 2017.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a condolences message to US President Donald Trump, in which he noted: "I was deeply saddened by the news of numerous deaths caused by the Hurricane Harvey in Texas."

According to, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan next week. This was announced by Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev at a meeting with the residents of Yntymak village of Uzgen District in Osh province.

Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov met his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday. Abdulaziz Kamilov, who arrived in India on Sunday, is leading a high level delegation from Uzbekistan including Elyor Ganiev, Minister for Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, senior representatives from the Uzbekistan Government, and Chairmen and representatives from several Government Associations and Corporations.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a letter to the King Felipe VI of Spain, in which he expressed his sincere condolences in connection with the terrorist act in Barcelona, which claimed many innocent lives and left dozens injured.

Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov today met with his Kyrgyz counterpart Erlan Abdyldaev in Bishkek, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported.

The Uzbek Foreign Ministry delegation led by Deputy Minister Saidikram Niyazhodzhaev today held talks with the Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Kairat Abdrakhmanov.

President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev today hosted the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, the Kyrgyz Presidency site reports.
