The Uzbekistan national team defeated South Sudan, 3-0 in a friendly match today at The Sisters stadium as part of the training camp in Dubai.
South Sudan was a replacement to Bahrain which whom Uzbekistan was scheduled to play, but Bahrain team withdrew due to coronavirus restrictions. The AS Roma striker Shomurodov netted twice in the first half, while in the 67th minute into the second half, Jaloliddin Masharipov scored from the penalty spot.
In its next friendly match Uzbekistan will take on New Zealand on February 1.
