The Uzbek Professional Football League (PFL), the top level league, will resume from June 5, according to a decision by the Special Republican Commission to Combat Coronavirus, with matches to be held without spectators.

The league was suspended on March 16, the day after the first case of COVID-19 was confirmed in the country.

To prepare for international and domestic football competitions, professional football clubs are allowed to conduct training sessions in accordance with sanitary rules, norms and standards of hygiene, the decision of the commission noted.
