As part of the preparation for the matchdays 2 and 3 of the second qualifying round for Qatar 2022 World Cup, the Uzbekistan national team will start a training camp in Tashkent on 2 October.

The new Uzbekistan coach Vadim Abramov has announced the 28-player extended squad for the upcoming matches against Yemen (home) and Singapore (away) on October 10th and 15th.
