The Uzbekistan Olympic Committee has submitted bid to host the Asian Games-2030 in Tashkent and Samarkand, the committee said.
Delegation of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) headed by President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah arrived in Tashkent to assess the possibility of holding major sports events in Uzbekistan.
The parties will discuss the construction of sports facilities, an Olympic village, logistics, organization of transport routes and airing.
Qatar, India and the Philippines have also launched bids to host the continental Olympic games in 2030.
