Uzbekistan to play Morocco, Iran friendlies - Tashkent Times

Uzbekistan will play friendly matches against Morocco and Iran, Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) said in a statement.

The match with Morocco will be held on March 27 in Casablanca, with Iran - on May 18 in Tehran.

The statement added that UFF for the first time in history managed to strike a deal to hold friendlies with teams preparing for the World Cup and a foreign coach will have been appointed to the national team by that time.

"The question with the new Uzbekistan coach is due to be decided by the year end, or in January at latest,” the UFF underlined.
