Tashkent and Brussels are preparing for future joint events in the European Union-Central Asia format in Samarkand in November, Dunyo reported.

Reportedly, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Mindaugas Kacherauskas, the temporary representative of the European Union in Uzbekistan, the deputy head of the EU delegation.

The parties discussed the bilateral agenda, as well as prospects for improving the efficiency of the European Union-Central Asia cooperation format on focused on the organization of the next EU-Central Asia foreign ministers meeting in November 2022 in the city of Samarkand and the first ministerial conference on enhancing interconnectivity.

The sides agreed to continue the practice of holding regular working meetings with the European side on the preparation of events, enrichment of their agenda with specific proposals and practical content.
