On August 11, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers handed over the suspect to Uzbekistan's Interpol officers at the Tashkent airport.
According to the Interior Ministry, according to the information support of the National Central Bureau of Interpol of Uzbekistan and joint operation with officers of the competent authorities of the United States of America, a citizen of Uzbekistan was detained and expelled, wanted by the police of Uzbekistan for committing theft on an especially large scale, provided for part 4 of article 169 of the Criminal Code.
Reportedly, thanks to the negotiations, joint operation and information exchange with the Uznited States authorities, employees of the NCB of Interpol of Uzbekistan, the U.S. relevant authorities decided to expel the wanted man.
