On July 28, as part of the visit of the Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu to Uzbekistan, a meeting was held with the Commander of the National Guard, Major General Rustam Juraev.

According to the National Guard, the parties explored the ways to further expand cooperation between the National Guard and the Turkish police and gendarmerie in the field of public security, training and advanced training.

During the dialogue, it was noted that friendship and strategic partnership ties between Uzbekistan and Turkey were an important factor in the development of bilateral relations in all areas of activity.

At the end of the event, which was held in the spirit of a friendly and constructive dialogue, the parties agreed to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation, increase the number of joint practical exercises and courses, as well as expand contacts between educational institutions.
