Movement of hot air from the provinces of Iran to Uzbekistan through Turkmenistan will intensify on July 17-22, Uzhydromet reported. In this regard, the air temperature during the daytime will increase:
- in Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, Navoi, Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya provinces up to +44 ... +47 degrees;
- in Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh and Syrdarya provinces up to +42…+45 degrees;
- in the provinces of the Ferghana Valley up to +41…+43 degrees.
In places across the republic, the wind is expected to increase to 15-20 m/s, with a dusty drift. In some areas, gusts up to 22−25 m/s are possible.
